I would say No. Badlands recommends minimum of 34" tires, lockers, sliders, and winch; none of which the '89 RRC has. :(

I know. The heart is willing but the flesh is weak. . . According to some accounts even the modded vehicles have a hard time coming out of there intact. Apparently the most difficult sections are included in the Pro Rock competition they hold there. Was looking at some videos of the trail and it looks like a blast. There are supposed to be some easier trails back there. I'd like to at least tag along with someone to see what it's all about.

Spending more time drinking beer with Gary is on my To-Do list this year. :)

HA HA. Good luck w/that. Unless you mean more than the 30 minutes it takes him to drink 1 beer a year.

If I do in fact make the trip, I expect a COLD 6 pack of KCCO Black Lager from one of you Chicago cats.

So I watched the one or two YouTube videos I found about this Mission Impossible trail. I'd really be surprised to see a full body Disco make that trail, and I :applause: your willingness to give it a go. Body damage IMMINENT, that's just getting to the nastier of the sections that I saw.

Hey Fish. Describe the level of trails without mud versus just mudfest trails. I'm interested in coming to this but don't want to waste time if it's a slopfest on a normal day. Obviously if it rains the day of or night prior I understand it will be muddy, but Are the trails legit, or illegit unless it's super muddy? I looked at every picture and it seems like it could go either way based off the pics.

I took my buggy last year, I ducked and dodged eery mud hole I could. We ended the day clean if you will. Sure the tires threw a bit of mud, but it's not like what I've found in the past in the South.

I didn't buy it. I just brokered the deal and am finishing some stuff Lane didn't get to. It will be at my place a lot and should be at the badlands with us. Just wait until you see the pile of parts I have to still bolt up to my truck and the dark green one on 35s.

I may be in now... I followed Beagle through the rock gardens etc with no prob. I'm happy to do stupid stuff, but do we know if the REALLY bad stuff in MI has a "plan b" option? Hard to tell from the YouTube videos.

I'll try anything twice, three times if it tastes good, but I'd like to stick with just one caved-in door....

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm NOT paying $60 to run a trail. Sure if you promise me 1-2 big titty topless blondes to ride along w/me, the very least spot the buggy at every pebble encountered.

Bah!!! You cheap Bastard, it's only slightly more than a normal day. :D
