Wow- inviting the trouble doing illegal engine swaps? We are at the point where if it's not titled outside the US, we won't convert 'em. I've been working on EPA for two years now about doing something they usually don't allow and in one of the conversations with one of their inspectors they mentioned you can't "clause" a repair bill as off-road use only or place compliance issues on the client. Doing the swaps is a fed offense.
This would make an interesting thread on its own- it's a hot topic these days.

I guess East Coast Rovers is going to have to go out of business. I have never seen anyone post more WRONG information ever...and to think this guy sell sLR parts and aftermarket stuff...you just can't bring a non-epa certified motor in and do a swap, meaning a TD5...300tdi's can actually be shipped here legally...what a fucking moron

I hope thats some sort of poorly executed joke and you don't think Sid was some gold card using fancy lad who did blow. He did heroin, cut up his girlfriend, did more heroin and died. Not something i would recommend to boy scouts but you don't screw with rock history by saying he's some cokehead ponce.

!00% right PT, depends on what out came out of...And even the EPA guy I spoke with here said that's kinda of a grey area...TD5's, no f'in way to get one here legally, or install it...and they WILL NOT type accept a single engine, unless it done by the manufacter

bah i don't know my drugs... never did any of em. coke, heroin, it's all the same shit to me. and yeah, i shoulda known that... i'm mildly embarassed except for the fact that i don't really give a shit about the lives of any of the bands i listen to, i just enjoy the music.
