Discovered these guys on YT tonight. I think they're mostly a cover band but they abide by the golden rule of covers: do it as good as the original or go home.

Check out their cover of Greg Brown's "Laughing River".

Oh come on. J.B. looks like the Pillsbury Doughboy with a potato stuffed down his pants, although there is one big difference. I appreciate all the fathers of funk and had my share of J.B. vinyl 35 years ago, but Bruno out dances, out sings and out pops J.B. by miles.


5:30 - 10:00 or so does all the J.B. moves and looks good doing it. at about 7:00 the Chilli Peppers come in.
