Always wondered what happened to Toecutter from the original Mad Max...

Cheers,

Cool cover of Sweet Child O' Mine. I've never heard an ukulele through a distortion pedal & I'm not sure whether I love it or hate it, but it is interesting nonetheless.

Neat. Looks like I just missed seeing him at the Fairmont in Maui--we were there last week.

Been on a Die Antwoord kick as of late, having just discovered them myself. I like unique music and this fits the bill!

That occasionally reminds me of an Enigma video. I have them all on DVD, actually. They used to be hard to find, but now we have YouTube.

Cheers,

Welcome to 2013.

It's definitely the kind of group that grows on you.

I love Letterman's reaction to the song at the end.

Letterman was so out of his element sometimes it was funny.
I don't actively seek out new music so it may be a few years before I discover something "new".
Most of the stuff on the radio is awful, either lyrically or musically devoid of any talent. I can accept music lacking if one area, but not both.

WTF was that?

Commercial radio basically sucks. I've gone back to my roots (WBCM 100.1, Bristol TN/VA):

http://www.birthplaceofcountrymusic.org/wbcm-bristol-radio/

Basically, country (not Nashville), mountain music, bluegrass, blues, some rock. From very old (20s, 30s) to modern day. You stand a good chance of hearing a version of Wagon Wheel on here. East TN/SW Virginia is a great place for music.

I get my metal fix elsewhere (Pandora, etc.).
