This is the Star Trek thread right? Everyone here speaks Klingon... if not I'm in the wrong place.

No Nick it was posted for "shits and giggles". I know Latin namely due to an austere Catholic upbringing. I attend mass in Latin every Sunday. Dominus vobiscum ;)

Now Curtis. Why would you say that? You only in a previous thread called me stupid despite the fact that I signed with one of the top firms in the country. I will be in SLC in November. It would be all my pleasure to have you and your lovely family as my guest for dinner at my favorite the New Yorker Club? Oh man you already deleted the thread? No worries, offer is still on the table.

I will be happy to repost of what I wrote if you wish. I just figured it best to leave it be rather than drag our junk on to the lawn. I would rather work out whatever you percieve to be the issue bewteen us and lets take things from there.

...which brings us to this:

Give me a quote. Really. Find ANYWHERE that I have called you "stupid". I have had a few idiot moments in life so I can't say that I've never called anyone stupid, but it my policy in life not to call anyone stupid. I will take the challenge on this. Give me a quote where I specifically call you "stupid" and I will make a whole thread of bold-lettered very sincere apologies.

I am not quite sure how to respond to this. Based on your attitude toward me in posts in recent threads, I would have to politely decline. Thanks though. If you know my family is lovely then you can probably figure out my email address as well. Send me an email and maybe we can work out whatever bee is in your bonnet :D

It would be in your best interest not to. As I have already made it quite clear what was posted was for " shits and giggles" ..You on the other hand took it personal. (Guilty Conscience maybe?)

"your lovely family" Its lawyer sarcasm which it obviously appears that I am quite full of these days. And again the offer was sarcastic. Nothing wrong with throwing an olive branch though.

You have no email address, that boggles my mind. Afraid that all the negative posts and replies would flood your inbox? At the moment I cant find the thread. I am not sure Curtis what it is about you that makes me want to PUKE. Maybe its the "I am better than you attitude" because I can drop a ZF in less than 25 minutes flat (including Y-Pipe assembly). Or the post when I obviously needed assistance and guidance with my rover and instead of offering it you acted in absolute ignorance, only to chastise, and scrutinize me, as well as belittle. I will drop this now as I know this could and WILL get very nasty. This is my email address: feel free to email me roverchic@cox.net at your earliest convenience of course. As I am looking to rectify this little debacle in an amicable fashion for both parties involved.

Found the post.
Melissa - get the damn thing fixed. If you had something like...oh maybe obd-2.com's software and connector it would likely tell you for sure what you issue is. Granted, I have been thinking ECU from the moment you posted, but you will never know for sure unless you hook up to the ECU. BTW - I have seen the 14CUX ECU for $125-$150 if you look in the right places.
I asked where I could find an ECU that cheap. No response from Curtis..I had already DONE ALL OF THAT. This is the ignorance that I am speaking of.. I own an OBD2 reader. And I had already visisted the dealer TWICE and to no avail they could not figure out what was wrong. Duh!?!?

With you in law school and presumably not having a scholarship (remeber - you have a Rover) you are adding to thier burden at a rate of about $30K+ a year. This leaves your folks only $40K a year to live on...assuming you are an only child. I could go on, but you can see the direction I am going here.

You need to sell that POS of yours before you drive your parents into the poor house. In the end just know that this is supposed to be about having fun. If you are not accomplishing that then the rig should go to someone who can
You have no clue who my father is ..LOL!! Furthermore, what I made this summer is more than most average(middle income) families make in a year. Then again you "assume" wrong..Ever heard of Order of the Coif?
The Order of the Coif is an honorary scholastic society the purpose of which is to encourage excellence in legal education by fostering a spirit of careful study, recognizing those who as law students attained a high grade of scholarship, and honoring those who as lawyers, judges and teachers attained high distinction for their scholarly or professional accomplishments.
or maybe Law Review??

I would reply to your comment in angst Curtis but It is obvious that I needed help and all you have to do is tear me down and call me stupid! This reminds me of Rover Puppy... If you would have read my post on FTS you would have seen that I already did the OBD2 and paid the dealership to hook it up to the test book all for them to say there is nothing wrong with the Rover. Thanks for the advice Ho.
And my reply.
