You saw the bill....hospital is the one that rapes you.

True, true.

It's the fault of the medical malpractice premiums!
They gotta pass the cost on to someone...

Design engineer for Northrop Grumman, mainly responsible for nothing except wondering why they hired me six months ago with no work to do.

Because they didn't want Boeing to snag you up!

That seems to be the govt way of doing things, tons of people making busy work and collecting salaries (nothing against you, just an overall observation of the govt spending).

It is so true, this place is a welfare company. I left Penn State's Research Lab because I was frustrated and wanted more work. I came here and the job I did there is divided between 5-6 people. Something I could have done in 10 miunutes I now have to wait days for someone else to do at their whim. I now know why a toilet seat costs $500. It is beyond frustrating.

At least they are paying for my master's that begins today. If I can survive here for two years.

First notable "career" ended as Steve Young's supervising NCO when we were both TACP ops lasing targets from the ground in Bagdad during Desert Storm.

For the next decade or so, I did a bunch of really weird jobs for a bunch of really weird people.

Now I am a founding partner in a federal professional services firm where my official title is the Director of Special Projects.

In my spare time, I harass Garrett. Its a secret love/hate man-sex thing.

Trust me, I am.

It is ironic, I worked for a University and got a 75% tuition reimbursement, here I get 100% paid up front. Business is booming right now I only hope it lasts long enough for me to finish this degree.

I've been an aviation electronics technician in the Navy for the past 5 years mainly working on radars and IFF systems and the occasional sonar, about to get out this summer and finish up my degree in Aerospace Engineering an Virginia Tech.

Dude! I have that same shit...... 6 inch titanium plate and 14 screws holding my right wrist together thanks to a Smith Fracture. Too damn old for skateboarding but I can seem to give it up, it's like actually admitting that your old..

I was in Process Improvements for a large home equity lender prior to being laid off, now I'm taking classes to go into Real Estate. What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment.

We're doing better than fine, having set a national record last year, and are already ahead of pace this year.

Monster Energy is better.
