It gets worse the longer you look at it.
i can't figure out why you would remove the analog gauges, hack together a screen in their place, and then reinstall the analog gauges on the center console.
oh, and then install a second set of analog gauges in place of the sun visor.
I've been hear long before 2004......which is what the profile says. My D1 was a 1995.

I loved meeting people from this board in person at events or just to hit trails. I learned a lot about vehicles and human stuff. Admittedly I’m not on here or other forums much anymore as I changed jobs, “work” in Memphis TN and live near the Norfolk coast in the UK, and have other priorities that barely give me time for the 65 IIA project that is almost running in Memphis. Eventually I will start tinkering on Land Rovers in the UK after buying a place with shop/garage/driveway/yard space there.
The format of this site has always been superior to others and social media platforms.

The second set of analog gauges is clearly a fail safe backup. Shit looks like a cheap trashed motel room, which has seen its share of action, with every occupant being a chain smoker.
Ditto, private for me even though I'm apparently and "old timer". Maybe someone will tell me the secrect knock to gain access....
I stopped daily driving a Rover (thank God), got busy with my kids sports, and went back to school. Last time I wheeled my D1 was 2017. Camped out of my Sequoia for 2wks in Colorado though in 2022. Maybe I'll get the D1 back on the road this year.......maybe.

I had a fucking stroke last Wednesday! I'm 52 fucking years old!
My God I've been poked, prodded, stuck, and scanned from my head to my toes. Good to know that all looks good, except for a small spot on my left frontal lobe that was starved of O2 for a few minutes on Wednesday. Fortunately a 100% recovery, no lasting effects. It affected my right foot and leg for a little while twice last Wednesday. I was out drilling and sampling and characterizing soil samples in the back of the LR4 and my right leg just turned off around 8:30 AM. I called the driller over to watch me and we talked for a few minutes and all went back to normal. Finished the job, took my samples to the labs, stopped by the local watering hole for a beer, then on the way home my right leg felt weird again. Got home, grabbed the wife, and hit the ER right away at about 2:30. Kept me for a few days and found a little stroke action up there. No idea why, everything else is normal. Fucked up shit man!

Jesus, have you been drinking K-Seal? Time for a proper rebuild! Too young to miss out on what garbage LR comes up with next.
Kids will fuck your bachelor/dink life up real good. My son wants to start traveling for soccer. I'm torn between being a supportive dad and needing to actually get shit done.

ERover, my first (son) was born last year. No clue if it’ll kill camping and trail riding or add to it in the medium/long term. We have a no travel ball policy - probably easier said than done now
