I dont know of anyplace that sells that part seperately. If anyone does, please let me know. I assume your taling about the plastic piece on the end of the regulator arm. In the past, on certain VIN 95 RR Classics that had completely different and unavailable regulators, I've had to use one of the plastics slides off of a p38. I'd file it down and make it fit. Maybe this is possible for your D2, ultimately I'd just replace the regulator since they arent very expensive.

Interesting, our '04 started doing the same thing just yesterday -- scares the crap out of you every time you roll the window down. I'll be taking it in to the dealer to get fixed under warranty, but I'll be watching here for a fix -- warranty is done this August!

if you search for "window regulator plastic" - you'll find tons of info on this from homemade fixes to complete replacement.

I had that problem years ago. I used a nylon washer from Lowes. Fixed my window for undar $1 and it has lasted longer than the original part!

I've got a few other little things that I will have them check as well, it will be worth it as a last visit before the warranty is done. After that it's all on me or on independent shops -- I have some good ones around here.
