You guys that have built a flip down tray on the back door, what are you using them for? I can't think of any practical uses other than cutting food on it if your cooking by back of your truck. Id imagine it to be too weak to hold anything else.

mbs13 said:Tables do make sense. I just dont see a point to having a table attached to my door for cutting/cooking food. Just seems like a pain in the ass to keep clean and you'd always have to be right there at the truck to use it as opposed to a portable table you can move around.
If I was building a truck for a specific purpose and space was a premium, I could see it being more useful I suppose. Sounds like just one of those things you have to see or use once in person to truly appreciate it.
