i've been there. seems more like a independent dealership than a service garage, but they do have a three bay garage. nice cars and good prices, but i don't know how much they charge for labor.

the establishment looks very nice, if that means anything.

I haven't done business with them, but when I was looking for my Disco I looked at a couple there. The guy that runs the place is a nice guy. His name is Kip IIRC.

Thanks. I just wanted to be sure they are reputable.
I just got off the phone with Kip & I put a deposit on one of their trucks. I fly down there next Friday to complete the deal.

Right before I made the phone call to finish the deal, I ran down to our local LR dealer with the vin. They were very nice & cooperative, considering I wasn't buying anything from them. They ran the vin & gave me a four page printout called a "VIS". Kind of a 'build sheet" it tells how the truck was originally equipped & options; warranty expriation dates; recalls performed and any needed; and engine, transmission, axle, gearbox, ect, serial numbers. Very good information to have. Combined with a clear, one-owner Carfax report, I feel pretty good about this truck.

that's a beauty. one of the guys down there drives a 99 trek. and they have some other pretty kitted-out stuff discos, too.

have fun! if i were in birmingham still, then i would take you around to some trails, but unfortunately, i'm two hours away and don't have the money to make the drive right now.

I just sold them my RRC and they were great guys to deal with.

Garrett I was actually going to point you in their direction. I dealt with Bart and Tim and both were good guys.

Good to know. Prices seem very good and the trucks we're looking at (from good, detailed images) look very clean and very solid. They offered to replace a rear cross-member on one. Looking at three 110, 2 doors. All diesels.

I think they'd look nice in my driveway personally. That's just me though.

none of your fucking business
I haven't really talked with bart but, Tim is a hell of a guy. They had two 110's at MAR that were sickeningly clean. If I had cashflow I would buy from them almost exclusively. They're where its at.

If Garrett wasn't so uptight and boycotting MAR, he could have met RMR and seen some nice 110's up close....;)

from what I've heard, they're good to deal with.

Michael, didn't I ride with you in an RRC of theirs once?

Hey don't lump me in with the rejects. I wasn't boycotting. I was still tired from the weekend before and had plenty of work to catch up on.

So it sounds like these folks are good to go. These are the trucks we are looking at.
