How far are you from Asheville NC? (did i spell that right?) Flying to Columbus IN and then either driving or taking a short flight to Asheville for a couple days or so.

I am going to be there sometime in the next month or so, give or take - if i could get rid of some inventory I'd consider stopping by or meeting up with you about a Defender of some sort I could drive home. When do your "new" ones come in?

I love those things. We use them religiously in aid distribution in southern Africa.

I have a new parts client in Malawi who is doing relief and education work. They have been told by Land Rover RSA that they may well have the only Petrol engine Rovers in Central Africa. All of their trucks are late 90s and have Lucas injected engines and so far,I've been the only one who has recognized that those trucks were built so late.

It's lucrative, but they won't pay for me to go over there and fix them, they want me to pay for my passage and contribute my time to their ministry-yeah right!

Garrett-when you're ready to teach field repairs, call me!:D

I am about 3.5 - 4 hours from asheville if I am not mistaken. My new trucks are supposed to be here today if the trucking company doesn't screw me.

Oh you should know what we do by now. In short we provide military off-road training for SF groups and we also plan and facilitate overland trips. Iceland, Newfoundland-Labrador, Mongolia and hopefully Peru next year.

I am still working out the final details of the Newfoundland-Labrador trip. I am hoping to include some volunteer work along the way and am waiting to hear back from a few organizations I've contacted. But the dates for the trip will be May 30-June 12.

We have a good number of interested people, so once I get the final numbers, intinerary and arrangements I'll be sure to post up here first.

The website is currently going under a complete reconstruction as well. A new site will be up before the end of the year.

PS: If anyone is interested in the trip(s), shoot me an email at garrett@overlandexperts.com and I will email you information as we get it.

Finally able to see and drive the white 110 that we got up here in CT. The truck is as close to perfect as it gets. No fault of RMR, the shipping company driver hit a low overpass/bridge and damaged the rear part of the roof.

Blue (now white) soft top 110 will be delivered to VA next week.
