Looks good. Im currently running the rockstar on mine, but I ran the round tube sam mcbirney one for a few years or so and i beat it alot, it really seemed to hold up very well.. The best part is the approach it gave me, the clearance on the corners and nose made a huge difference on many obsticles.

I'm sure that will come in handy with his sweet axle guard.

I think I have one of the first Roxstar front bumpers, I have had mine for over a year. No complaints, finish has held up fine. I have wheeled with it on and like the wrap around style, it has saved me body damage more than once. The bars that everyone said would "block the headlights" do no such thing and I still see fine at night. I like my front one so much I am picking up a rear one next month.

did you run over a rain gutter?

it doesn't hold a winch, and you lost your headlight washers. I don't get it.

I love the approach angle and it weighs nothing

All of the skids on the truck came from the factory when the 1st owner bought it. If it's not broke, dont fix it. Why would i get rid of more protection for less protection?

How does the twin supertone horns work out?
They're terrible. Nobody ever buy those pieces of shit. They're loud as shit but the high tone overpowers the low tone.. kind of sounds funny

How are those guy-wires to the roof rack mounted? Aren't you scared of ripping off the front fenders if you hit something low with the rack or a tree limb falls on the wire?
I made brackets that bolt to a screw holding the fender as well as riveted in. theyre not going anywhere, for now.

Yeah, the way the bars go over the headlights, its not really even in the beam pattern.

Well, yeah, they are in the beam.

I don't know about other states, but in Virginia it would not pass state inspection (legally). Even the stock LR brush guard grill have to be removed.

But other than that, it still looks like shit.

"Factory"? Looks like South Down to me.

The only thing that skid is good for is excavation or farming taters.

Yeah its southdown, what he meant is the truck was sold with full southdown skids on it. Steering, front axle, etc. It looks better than what he had before.
