I don't think they know it because I don't believe it would happen unless they do a very limited run to sell out on purpose.

Never buy first run.

This "truck"/"suv" is neither. Small cab eliminates all but those desiring to limit passengers to 2. Small bed is worthless for anything other than gear. Cover the bed and you have a long 2 seater unlimited without "pass through".

Just quessing....I bet truck out there that seats > 4 has better resale, the market for this is a small portion of the 2 door wrangler market.

Just go buy this if you are looking at a D1. Looks pretty good, might be able to talk them down. have no idea what they did to put 16k into it.
