It's actually a P38 SD rack ;)

I'm actually picking up an 03 RR SD rack in Las Vegas on Friday.

It will be retro'd to fit my new Rangie project.

edit: stay tuned for build photos.

Any updates on your bumper Larry? Sell any at the Rally? and any new pics of it finished?

Thanks

The actual base bumper is finished. I have a powdercoated version sitting in my garage now. I can now move onto building the tire carrier portion. Now that the Rally is over I will be able to focus on this a little more. Probably start work on it over the weekend once I tie up a few loose ends...

My heater box is back in the truck so I can now move it out from the garage and take some close up photos of my rear tire & jerry can swing away holders.

The tire you see in my previous post is a 33".

My rover has about a 4" lift (OME HD springs with 2" spacers) and 33" BFG MT. The wheel wells have been cut and flares installed too.

Not mine.. but I've always liked this one! I am totally jealous of this one and someday hope to have a RRC that is equally outfitted. (And it has the rear swing away.) p.s. photos are not mine

X2.
I think that might be that model for the next phase of my RRC as well. I especially like the way the rear bumper protection extends to the wheel arch.

Repeat for you bumper builders out there:
"I especially like the way the bumper is designed to provide protection all the way to the rear wheel":)

I've got a couple LT's waiting for me locally.

What bumper? You never told me about no stinking bumper:rofl:

Yea, Danny boy is coming over at some point.

The engine and everything else will start once I get the title squared away in about a week.

Lane sold me his brothers GDE bumper - the aluminum style, non winch but the price was too good to pass up

Here is the RR SD rack that will be fitted to my Rangie.

That looks sharp!! I have the factory rack and like the low profile look, but that SD is killer! What RR was is made for and how do you plan to fab it up? I think a new thread is in order!!

The rack is off of a 2003 RR.

It will have custom CNC'd mounting points which I will post up.

Stay tuned for my build blog linky ;)
