T-shirts! I'm basically giving these away...

Alright, so I had some t-shirts printed up a while back. They have a logo I designed based around the LR logo, but say Retro Rover for all you old timers on here...RRC included. Next to the logo they say "Through the river & over the woods." Yes an off-roading play on the famous story line. Anyway, I would prefer to not just throw these in the trash. I paid about $4.50 each to have them printed on Gildan Ultra Cotton t's. Anyway, I'll part with these for $10 shipped to anyone in the USA. I won't be making a dime, especially after my time, but I'd love for them to go to Rover fans rather than a trash dump. Here is what I have in sizes and colors. When they are gone, they are gone. I'm not printing more. If you want one, e-mail me at grahambrizendine@hotmail.com. I'm only checking the forum now and then.

(NOTE - I have tried three times now to post a picture of the logo, but the site keeps giving me a technical error and sent a message to the technical staff or some BS. Sorry, I'll e-mail you a pic if you want it. Yet another reason this board wore on me and I have gone to the dark side.)

Khaki

why would you throw them away and not donate to charity?

That's the wrong question. The right question is this:

Why didn't he ask $12.00 a piece, shipped, so he can at least get his money back. The patter couldn't be more simple: Only a few shirts remaining after a custom run for enthusiasts, and I figured I'd offer them here.

If the old heart still bleeds, that's neigh on a hundred bucks worth of food to donate. Most people don't realize that a lot of those donations are sold to raise money. At twelve bucks, the shirts won't outclass the price after donation. They bring next to nothing in that bale of cotton.

I'm not judging anything. This is just another way to look at it. If he decides to save the world, he's better off this way, even at ten bucks.

Either way, tossing things is poor financial form. Everything is worth something to someone. A dollar is better than nothing, so long as the time you spend making it isn't worth more. I made a profit on a can of Mello Yello yesterday.

Hey. The dude was thirsty. :)

Cheers,

Kennith

Yeah, I'm an email spammer. It's my hobby. And I have been on this board for years.

Anyway, I will be responding to everyone who sent e-mails shortly and posting up a count of what I have left. I have a life outside of Dweb, my bad. And again, I think you can do the math on this, I'm not making a dime off this, but want these to go to Rover fans rather than the winos who shop at my local Goodwill.

MF'er!! I was working on my list on here and IE decided to sh!t so my post went to hell.

Anyway, I am in the process of compiling a list of the people who e-mailed me and it's just going to be a first come first served deal. But I will say I have had 12 people e-mail me so far. I started getting e-mails almost immediately. Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have more of these damn things made?!?

I'll be back on here tomorrow at some point with the list. I have learned my lesson, do it in Word and paste it here. Oh and for payment, I'm just thinking PayPal to keep it simple. I'll post all of that info tomorrow.

Don't sweat it man. We have obviously had people on here before who would post something up then we never hear from them again. No worries.

Sounds like we need more made if you have the time. Appears there is a need for new shirts around here. We need someone that can get creative and make some nice shirts. Have any other design ideas?

I think you will find a lot of people on here like the colors you are offering too.

Yeah, no worries at all. :)

I hope I am high on the list but no sweat if not. I will take all three mediums if no one else wants them or just the tan/khaki like I mentioned before - like I said happy to make a donation to DWeb too.

I'd love to make a bunch of different shirts but never seem to have the time to actually get it done.

Cheers,
Doug
