Geez. Sorry I missed it, though kind of glad I wasn't wheeling in my Rangie... it looks like I might have had quite a bit of $$damage$$! This year has just sucked... the first time I've missed a MAR (or anti-MAR) since I got my first Rover. Thanks for the invite & sorry I couldn't come. 
At least I sold a few Rovers over the weekend, so it wasn't a total loss! Is the Cove ALL rocks or did you guys just pick the rockiest friggin trails you could find? I HATE ROCKS. MUD MUD MUD, that's where it's at for me. I see very little mud in the MAR or Cove pics!

Didn't Garrett warn everyone to stay out of that mudhole? I can't imagine how freaked I'd be to get that much mud inside my Series. Mine is just to cherry for that.D Chapman said:

My boyz in the RVA say the D2 looks like a beater after the Death Valley binge and wheel challenge Thurs night.. I will get lost with you guys at 4am any time.

Alyssa, I wondered what happened to you! Missed seeing you this year.
We didn't get to see much mud while we were there, but we were riding in the big trucks. Tami's truck seemed to do well on the other trails, so you would have been fine.
Got any good prices on a used LR3? I'm starting to like them.....
this girl loves mud. i almost couldnt believe how well it handled in the deep mud in 4 lo. that photo was taken after i tried to traverse a narrow isthmus and the rear left wall of dirt gave way and i slid into the hole.
ol red is far from cherry and i think i like it better this way. galen loved and abused her before me and derek too. shes basicaly a whore. a true harlot that likes to be ridden hard in the saddle. i felt zero pain watching her sit on her side, half under water, waiting for the cavalry to show up and who gratefully pulled her out while i learned some new winching tricks from some pros. it was a highlight of my weekend actually. that and my lunch with sweet lilly watching her gnaw a giant kialbasi as garrett tried to explain to her that he DIDNT really buy the chorizo flavored sausage for any particular reason, least of which being her own mexican heritage. not sure she bought it. the awkwardness was exruciating for only a brief moment until she again resumed gnawing on her mustard laden sausage and garrett opened another beer. ahh memories....
unfortunately i found out this morning that i cracked a right front frame rail on the series over the weekend. gonna powerwash whole thing down and see about getting a welder up the road to repair it.
