not much, they rushed Hershel back to the cell block and came to the agreement regarding the food and 'living' arrangements.

Seems Rick's become a bit of a hardass...................finally.

lost 2 and gained 3 people. Thought for sure the governor was going to rape the blonde girl.
Exactly. Thought he slipped her a Mickey in the bourbon.

Best episode of the season. My wife was bawling at the end..........

A bad day for the governor, what with the dead zombie girl and the poke in the eye.

Kind of a spoiler during the credits for the next episode when you see the brother running around...

Good episode though. This, Game of Thrones, and Person of Interest are the only thing I watch as soon as they air. DVR lets me watch some good stuff whenever I want, but I can't wait too long on those three.

Clearly due to the overwhelming popularity of The Walking Dead, there are so many damn commercials when it airs on Sundays, that I am about to give up watching it at that time. Even when you watch it on AMC or On Demand for free (on Comcast) there is only about 30 minutes worth of actual content in each episode. I still say Season 1 was the best so far since it seemed like something happened in each episode. Now it just drags the fuck on. Ok, rant over. :D

We have the Dish Hopper, and we rarely see commercials. It's really great. But that's only for Prime Time stuff. So we do have to skip commercials in TWD.

When the ignoramus pops up with The Walking Dead Twitter hash tag subject of the night, it takes me right out of the show. We were a little late to the party, and then Dish stopped carrying AMC, so we just watched them all on Netflix. I miss that experience.

I don't think I could watch TV without the DVR.

Anyway, I love the show. Too bad about the wait until February.

agree, spoiled it with daryl running in the trailer for the rest of the season (what the fuck is a mid-season finale?) as well as the fact season 1 was the best. too much back story/character development they're trying to do.

I watched the trailer a couple times just to make sure Darryl made it.

I'll probably stop watching when he dies.

We DVR it, start watching after about 15 minutes and just skip the commercials. Love that show, and now Talking Dead is an hour.:patriot:

Never watched the Talking Dead, but I get the concept - Let's talk about the show each episode of which only has 30 minutes worth of content, with the other 30 minutes devoted to commercials. WTF is there to discuss? This is not exactly a series with a deep plot that should be analyzed and thoroughly discussed. This shit is simple - zombie outbreak happens, some people survive and then battle zombies to try and prolong their bleak existence. What we expect as viewers from a show like this one is not over-the-top character development, "I miss my mommy" issue resolution, or discussions of how to re-establish mankind. We rather want to see some bad-ass action (zombies getting roundhouse kicked, sliced and shot) and some occasional non-zombie titty shots. They need to stop dragging this shit out because otherwise it will make the whole show worse. :banghead:

What good tv show is not like this? It's a rant about tv not walking dead.

I just record it as well as everything else that I watch, with the exception of NFL.

Yeah i know; been hearing the same thing from some friends when i bitch about the damn commercials within that show, but i really dont watch a lot of shows on TV so i refuse to succumb to the dvr deal. I suppose i ll just suck it up for the time being with this show or watch it after it initially airs so i can fast forward.

I really don't think they jacked with the show times at all. Generally the shows content is 40-42 minutes on most other series. Netflix says so.
