Well, that was a kick-ass season premiere, best one since the series started IMHO. Hope they keep up the pace the rest of the season and don't end up settling in a farm growing zucchini anymore.

Don't worry; it'll return to the "talking dead" soon enough.
I honestly don't know why I keep giving that show my time.
You can't make this shit up:
A New Mexico man who had been watching the hit TV series The Walking Dead beat his friend to death because he believed the victim was turning into a zombie, police said on Monday. Damon Perry, 23, of Prewitt, New Mexico, is charged with murder after allegedly attacking Christopher Paquin, also 23, with kicks, punches, sharp-edged objects and items including a guitar and a microwave oven, police said. Perry told investigators he had been drinking large amounts of alcohol when his friend began to change into a zombie.
FYI: Glenn is not dead...

I hope you are wrong for believability sake. I almost quit watching this show when they found a working Hyundai in season 2. Lameness. If he is alive and they don't show a very detailed ridiculous episode showing how it happened it may end it for me.
To be fair, at the Hyundai point, it hadn't really been that long since the shit hit the fan. Product placement can be fun, at times, anyway.
As for Glen, all they need is a distraction to show that the zombies turn around and find something else to do before they eat through the other guy. Problem solved.
What I find interesting is the damage on Rick's hand. I was a little groggy, and couldn't tell if he'd been bitten or simply cut. I do know in comics he loses a hand, and he didn't look too happy about the injury in the show.
They mentioned in some interview that the only reason he still has two hands here is trying to film him in everyday life situations, and how it might take up too much screen time during menial tasks.
Cheers,
Kennith
