I did not see one tick last year. I think we sprayed down though to keep the mosquitos off us in the woods.

Leeches? Did someone see one? Both my son and I swam that evening and did not have any problems other than the swamp mud smell.

I got one or 2, but we were next to Ponie's Condo chatting with few people and I remember this young couple with a Freebie, poor girl was getting attack by the them .

Also found couple by tent.

I think the area were we had lunch is a much better camping site, but what do I know

I think the spot where we had lunch is more reserved for lunches and gatherings, not camping. I believe the spot where we all camped was due to its seclusion away from everything. I believe that if the grass gets cut much shorter, most of the problem would go away. We will have to see about that.

I am wishing we could bring small campers. I am a wimp and don't care for tent camping in the heat.

I'm not complaining it was a great spot.

It would be nice if it was mowed a little shorter. It might help with the ticks and would make it a lot easier to set up a tent.

Yes it will be mowed better this year, they mowed the wrong spot and I had them mow the correct spot an hour before the event.

Registration is open, feel free to call me or post questions.

Thank you

Chris

I can live with small campers as long as generators are not allowed. There is nothing and I mean NOTHING more irratating than a damn generator running all day and night.

So Chris did you cut a trail up the hill by the lake where I blazed one with the Defender? That was a fun way to go. Also this year I am bring my floaty for the lake bath. It felt really goood last year.

I think you made the new way up the hill by default.

If we swim again, which I plan on it, we really need to make a spot where we can get out without having to walk through the foot deep mud on the bottom. We will see about finding another spot the next time we go out there, which is next weekend.
