Turn signals & hazard lights

Turn signals & hazard lights stopped working on my brother's 98 disco. Fuses are all ok (engine and passenger compartments). Where's the relay for the indicators? Thanks all.

do you think maybe in some crazy way, there was a short ath blew all the bulbs? dunno if thats possible tho....

Relays aref ound under the kick panel, passenger side. But, I'm not certain that's the problem with out further investigation.

I've never heard of a turn signal relay going bad, although I replaced a switch Monday on a truck with only 101K on it.

Thanks for the replies guys. When the alarm is armed the signal lights flash like normal. It's just when the signal lights are activated (left or right), or when the hazards are turned on, nothing happens. Keep 'em coming!

Hmm...then I would look into the 'headlight' stalk, perhaps it is worn out. Happens to some, not others. Dont know why this would also prevent the hazard button from turning them on. But to me it seems the stalk (you know the thing you push up or down on the left side of the wheel to turn the indicators on) might be the culprit here...

Troubleshooting the stalk is pretty easy. Get out your ETM, look up the pinout for the connector and jumper the pins to see if the lights can be made to blink.

I wish I could remember the connectors/pinouts from the job I did last week-this is almost the same issue!

My stalk gives issues sometimes, and they don't work either....x2 on that. Then I get the air chisel out and a large pry bar, and they seem to come around.
