Andy,
what part of Michigan are you coming from? I did about a 6 year stint in Grand Rapids. I think you'll probably win the "Longest Distance" award too ;)

Will,
I think most everyone pretty much just packs up to leave on Sunday. I'm sure there will be a few stragglers that might hit some trails.

Will, if you can only come down Sunday, don't worry about paying anything. Just show up and have a good time. Like Steven said though, most folks head for home by about 1:00pm.

After the rainout at MAR, I'm going to give URE!2 a shot - weather should be gorgeous and I think my things will finally have dried out again from MAR by Friday.

I'll be driving up Friday morning from Charlotte, if all goes well.

What a great weekend! The boys and I had a blast. It was good to meet so many really friendly people and that made our weekend even better - to go with the great weather, fine trails, superb trucks (oh, yeah, Bojangles chicken too!)

We certainly look forward to being there next year. I've got some photos I'll try to get posted here sometime soon, when I figure it out!

Wow and Thanks!

To Stephen, Scott, Patrick and Dale for leading the trail rides on Saturday! I did not hear a single negative comment from any one. Some how you all manged to keep everyone going, and having a good and safe time. Thank you!

To Patrick, Steven, Scott, Stephen, Dale, Charles, Brenda, Sara, and Adrian for being the "GO TO" men (and women). Every where I looked, one of you were there to help, or you had anticipated a task and were completely envolved. Your support as we built up to the event is what made it start off so well. Once we got going, you have no idea how grateful I was to know each of you were there, that we all shared the same vision and that you were so committed to making this work for all those people who chose to spend a weekend with us!

To Charles and Brenda for working the registration. What a head ache to take on, and how well you did it. Thanks again!

I have no idea what the numbers are. We were at or just over 50 vehicles. Because the event was free to members, we had a lot of day guests. Folks who couldn't spend the whole weekend, but were able to join us. We didn't keep track, but I remember seeing a window sticker with the number 60 on it.

As soon as we work out the details and pay the bills we will let everyone know the final result.

Finally,

To everyone who chose to spend their weekend in the Old North State, your participation, your willingness to visit and share this love we have for the out of doors and our vehicles, and the respect and friendship you extended to all of your new friends has made this the very best way to spend an October weekend.
