making O2 sensor spacers
My '65 runs a EFI 4.2 and from what I've read If you run high flow cats, or no cats in my case, then backing out the sensors tricks it into running more efficiently. I was growing tired of 10mpg and had an hour to spare so i figured i'd give it a shot.
I thought that was for rear O2s. Does your 4.2 have rear or just front? If it's for the front, would like a pic of what you did & hear what your results are in the future.
I heard spark plug non foulers could be modified for the same purpose.
I can pull a headlight switch for you. New ones are cheapish…. $30 at AB.
What was the reason for replacing the temp sensor?
over fueling poor running, seems to have helped. It was the ECU sensor.
