No shit! Took a day off to work on the new workshop and BOOM! The good stuff is deleted.

James,

The incident itself wasn't funny. However, the narrative that accompanied it was darn scandalous and written extremely humorously - even though that may not have been the intent.

There was a lot of waiting.

There was a mystery guest.

There was even more waiting for the mystery guest.

There were locked doors and mysterious phone calls.

Someone was going to h__l for drilling someplace.

There were invigorating rides through the desert.

Someone was stranded someplace with blown diffs.

Generally, it was a very busy thread that shot off into very unexpected directions. Even so, surprisingly, it stayed on topic. It was kind of one of those things that left you with more questions than answers as the story unfolded.

The entire episolde would have been absolutely hilarious had we not known any of the individuals involved.

Although I don't feel good or approve of the alleged behavior of the individual involved, I do hope she is okay wherever she is. Geez, how many times have I lamented over feeling like I could win the prize for "most embarassed Dweb member" after I ran over that stupid stick??

Well, in my opinion, the thread in question would have been a gazzillion times more embarassing.

That said, I suppose she is fortunate that it was pulled so that it won't make it into the DWeb hall of fame.

I sincerely hope that she contacts the other parties involved and this can be straightened out to everyone's satisfaction. It sounded like the guys really went out of their way to accomodate her needs. If it were me, and all of those things occured during a planned trail ride or trip, I would not be a happy camper.

Best Regards :) Jamie, Blue, and Angel

Jamie - you seem to enjoy the drama - you might want to tune into the daily soaps they provide a lot of it! :p

this thread is even better than the first one. every one should have learned from wenzel, don't stiff anybody with internet access and a love for forums. i would have thought she would be defending herself by now, maybe there isn't a good excuse. did our member count drop by 1?

The monetary reparation due was calculated based off of the total amount/bill ($745.80 which includes any applicable sales tax of 13%) supplied by the management office at the Cottonwood Condominiums for the specified stay and the total number of occupants during that time of habitation. While the two-night stay amount totals $83.00, $125.00 is being forwarded for your colossal inconvenience and tremendous loss due to this experience. This cash payment hereby satisfies the aforementioned debt in full.

Keep in mind there's another side to this entire story. Although, this late in the game, the damage has been done; so what's the point of rehashing it all?
For those that know me, know, I do not rip people off. Anyone can search through the classified section and see I do not have negative transactions.
As well, the money withdrawn from my account was for the amount of $225.
Hence, the reason for the unauthorized payment. Since, this was not the amount that was owed for my 2 night stay. (This matter is being investigated by my financial institution).

Ok, can somebody remember to save this one, I'd hate to miss something b/c of east coast tiredness.

PS: Glad to see the other side defending herself, hopefully everything's on the up and up and both parties will kiss and make up. And no Chris, I'm not talking about you and Burt, put the lotion down.....

And don't forget various bits of information on unusual sex acts and vehicular sodomy.
