I need to get a really good spray for a dog that came on my property and seems to have done it before. I don't want to shoot it just yet, but if it fucks up my Newfoundland I will wan't to shoot it. If it hurts my people that would be worse.

So what's the best shit? I read that the stuff for humans is stronger and I had a friend who reads meters tell me about some stuff that's gotta be washed out of the dogs eyes by a vet. I don't wan't to just piss off this pit bull I wan't the thing to be down. I like dogs and blame the owner, and I TRY not to be prejudice against one breed or another. I don't know what the dogs intentions are so I'm not ready to kill it.

Maybe a call to Animal Control? If the owner has to pay money to the county to get the dog out of hock down at the pound, maybe they'll consider doing a better job of containing it in the future rather than letting him roam the neighborhood.

Well actually its the idiot next door. I had my dog out for his last trip to the yard at like 11 and I heard him loose control of the dog. Next thing you know this fuckers coming hard between my garage and my house, my dog takes off after it and some kind of shit happened because my dog was back by my side looking kinda shook up.

Problem is that I told the guy that he can't be letting his dog over here because these dogs are gonna get hurt. His stupid ass response was that he was just letting his dog take a shit. I told him that wasn't the part I had a problem with, him coming on my property was the problem. I don't think he's going to keep the dog off my property. My dog won't leave my property even when he was chasing that dog away.

I agree. Try animal control first. The dog doesnt know what property lines are. Its the owners fault and I dont think taking it out on the dog is the way to go.

Do you know who the owner is?

Animal control in my county is a joke. We had a similar problem with a dog in the same rental property that hurt another guys dog that lives near me. It happened close Christmas they came out and told my friend he had 10 days or something like that to file a complaint and get the dog registered as problem. But they close today for two weeks for the holidays, so better luck next time.

I live out in the middle of nowhere, like out where Jesus lost his sandals. We all know that we're on our own for at least a half hour after you call a cop. so whatever this thing escalates to I can deal with it, no big deal.Just want to pepper spray this fucker down and when the owner comes to drag it back to the other side of the property line I'm gonna be armed. So he knows I did him a favor that time.

I would never do anything to hurt a dog just because it wondered onto my property. This dog was coming hard and my dog charged right back at him. I think the size of my dog freaked it out.i also don't want to hurt the dog if it was just doing hot laps and not really charging anything.

I know you guys who live in normal suburban places would think this is all crazy talk and there's rules and animal control and running water. But you guys who live in some really rural backwards ass places know what I'm talking about. Until a person gets hurt by this dog nothing will be done. Google map 60034

The owner of the building is a total dick. I never fuck with him cause it could get worse. He had no problem with the fact that his tenants dog attacked a leashed dog on the sidewalk in front of his building, and some of the blood was in my yard so some of it happened in there too. Not his problem and it appears the law agrees.

So now that you know my sad story I'm just wondering what's a really really good pepper spray for dogs?

Finding out what a mailman uses is probably your best bet. Once you find out, but some and spray your neighbor in the face with it.

That's probably right, but DWEB knows everything. I never see my meter reader buddy anymore. He said boxers are unstoppable. He said he hit one good with a shot that would drop most dogs and the fucker kept coming. He also said they teach them to get low so the dog doesn't run under the spray.

If it's that wild out there, just get a can of bear mace. A buddy of mine was having a problem with a stray attacking his dog in the yard. He happened to have a can of bear mace in his hiking pack, so he grabbed that and hit the dog with it the next time he saw it come into his yard. Never came back after that.

They do a good job with what they have. Our 911 calls would get routed to the county sherif and our county is bigger than most if not all in the state. Our local cops are part time. We have 2 working gas pumps and 1 flashing four way stop. Highschool graduating class this year has 30 kids in it. That includes all the kids in the next po dunk shithole called Alden.

We have few people per sq mile and you kind of know everyone . Sherif and a local cop told my buddy about some silly bastard that wanted to prepay the fine for discharging a firearm in city limits. Guy had all his info to start running gun checks. They think that was funny shit. That was me

Sounds like your dog took care of things. Plus it sounds like your dog & yard are not under control either. If you don't want dogs in your yard put a fence up. Or just let what Newfies do... protect the herd.

I agree about the fence . These dogs only seem concerned about people. Especially around water. Last thing on this dogs mind was fighting. He wanted to play.
