Wheel Speed Sensors - '99 Disco 1

Need a wheel speed sensor for a '99 D1, will take one for the right front and left front.

Not sure what code you are getting, but have you tried pushing it back in first?

dont have the code reader for it. Took it to a shop a while back when the ABS unit started to fire during slow tight turns. He said the RF sensor was going bad. In CA it doesnt matter. Moved to Houston, and there is a safety component of the inspection and they wont pass it with the check brake light on.

I was actually asking a question. you said the "check brake light" message was on.

hahaha!!! damned punctuation...

should read the "check brakes" light on the dash is on.

also need a California spec gas cap, the shop said that the cap failed.

As Will is eluding to, the wheel sensors will not make the check brakes light come on. Check the sensor on your reservoir under the hood and check the emergency brake.

The wheel sensors will set the ABS light but not the brake light. I have had an issue with one of my sensors for years and I never get a Brake light on. Only the ABS light. I pulled my ABS fuse and my brakes have been working just fine.
