Nothing as fancy as either. I help growth companies get financed and go public on small cap exchanges.

So how do you do that? Are you part of a VC group?

I'm an unemployed chef, quit my last job b/c some people think they can run restaurants because they have eaten in one or two. Not bitter though! LOL Plan to open my own in about a year and my business partner has a land cruiser so when we do have time we will be playin in the woods. -DTL

been self employed for 8 years now as a gov consultant. two years were a struggle the rest have just been great. The two years that were a struggle i pretty much took the first year off and the 2nd year struggled a bit to get my consulting work back off the ground. its now Up and running strong again now that i got motivated to actually work. Get this my first gov consulting gig back in 2000 took me to HI for four years. 8 months on the islands 4 months on the mainland per year.

I am also a personal guide- started back in college as a mtn guide taking people climbing, backpacking, mountaineering and now I do private guided trips around the world (thailand, indonesia, Baja, Mainland mexico, S america and Central America too) and rover trips down into Baja (mainly southern baja) and the southwest, but i'll go anywhere for private trips. I have some standard trips that i do in the winter months down to baja, but for the most part they are perosnalized trips catering to the clients needs and wants. its been a grande ol ride. I have also incorporated my love of archaeology and rovers into these trips. These trips have been very popular with certain repeat clients that i have. they like having the personal guide taking them around. I have a lot of intimate local knowledge of varying places around the world and now i get to use it. follow your passions
