Which site? I recently left BMS after a number of years, but I've been all over the place with them.

Nassau Park (NSP) over here in Princeton, NJ. I take care of their BMC Remedy System. But looks like EDS is taking over by December 08. Have to get this Real Estate gig going if you know what I mean.

I'm very familar with their Remedy system (and EA system before that). My last gig was in Greensboro NC, but before that I was at the RTP, Garden City, and Hillside facilities -- all closed!

Nassua Park was probably the only site I didn't visit.

I mainly did DTS transitions for sites outside of Hopewell's reach. The southeast and Japan.

I left right before EDS took over. Since I was in Greensboro, I would have likely been forced to move to NJ or join Convatec's new divesture anyhow.

I would love to have stayed, but BMS has been selling off and outsourcing just about everything.

I am a Drilling Consultant.

"I do my own drilling and the men that work for me, work for me and they are men I know. I make it my business to be there and see to their work. I don't lose my tools in the hole and spend months fishing for them; I don't botch the cementing off and let water in the hole and ruin the whole lease. I'm a family man- I run a family business"

Since my stint as BATMAN I have moved on and retired from Uncle Sam's Flyin' Circus where I was a flight engineer to become a real estate appraiser/artist/musician. Hopefully the art will take over and I can leave the rest behind and keep the music for personal and family entertainment.

Cheers,

Mike

That's from there will be blood, isn't it? That movie is phenominal! Daniel Day-Lewis or however it is spelled is a great actor.

west of the city...
I started a Pet Care and Dog Training business after my IT position was outsourced to SE Asia...(I used to breed Labs and train Duck dogs many years ago in AR) That was nearly 6 years ago. I ran 1 ad in the local paper, have 2 part timers who assist, and I am crazy busy! Clients include dogs, cats, snakes, parrots, cockatoos, rabbits, and I even have a client who has a mink. I love my job, but it is more physically demanding than most people would think. Some days I walk in excess of 16 miles...

I used to be a self employed painter/paper hanger until I came over to Afghanistan 3 years ago . Now I run a paint shop on a small base in Kabul. I get to travel to places I would never have seen and get to directly support our efforts here. It's a love/hate job..... I miss home alot but The perks here are excellent.
They let me drive convoys through Kabul once in a while wich is wild sometimes. I love it.

Since posting two years ago, "The Man" canned me twice!

I'm back to running a shop, but have recently applied to become an insurance adjuster. Today's paper had an advert for an EH&S guy for a heavy equipment company that among other things, makes cement mixers and bucket trucks. If they don't want a touchy-feely feelgood EH&S guy, I'll apply. Also saw an advert for a service advisor at another local indie shop... Lots of history with this guy though, but we'll see. It would be nce to have some disposable income for a change.

I've been a full time Farrier since 1997, I still apply my Trade, but nowhere close to what I used to.

I have been self employed for 5 years now as an architecture/landscape photographer and fine art commercial dealer. Before the photo business I had a web design/graphic design business that I started during college which I then sold off to start my current photo business. Now I have been pondering the idea of purchasing a small fleet of Rovers to start an Ozark Photo Tour Company.

I'm a bona fide LOOSER...Unemployed by choice?..I wish!!!!!...nope,

I, sadly, have a job. with a 5 day workweek, not a 4 day week as I had suggested..but did they listen? NO....

maybe I'm "Looting unsuspecting Qwikee marts coast to coast...that could be fun...

nah....

having played the IT contractor role for years, and having enjoyed my own 'shop'
I am wearing the noose again working for a public corp.

high up off the ground...in an office. in a cubicle. with a few screens and a phone/headset, a corkboard and a whiteboard. and coffee..

I'd rather be wheeling!
