Do you need extended brake lines when removing the rear sways with 2" OME's?
And what's the skinny on rear fender trimming with the rear sways removed? Is this only necessary if you run large tires?
What about the need for longer bump stops in the rear? For a 99 DI.
You might need extended lines on the rear *if* you get long shocks (longer than standard OME) or lower the upper mount. It is something easy to check once the suspension is together. Just raise the frame up high and then gradually lower the axel with the fram on stands. Watch the break lines as you lower the axle. I have the EE/EW lowered upper shock mounts and 3" lift, extended brake lines. I really like it.
Trimming *might* me avoidable with sway bars, don't know exactly how much they inhibit uptravel. The trimming is necessary since when the wheel stuffs into the well, it tends to hit the rear of the wheel well if you are running larger tires. My 245/75 and larger rubbed on the rear of the well, when stuff.
Then when you go to 3" and stock trailing links you are linkly to rub on the front of the rear well with 235/85 or larger. Extended rear links solve this as does the A-frame extender from RTE.
Front should not be an issue. I run the N73 extended shocks in front and do not have a problem with any rubbing or with the brake lines. I just happened to do all 4 brake lines at once.
Don't know about the bump stops, I do know that I do not have them and have not had a problem *yet*.
