Add in that you have some useable space and it's a no brainer. If you want cool factor, then the 110 has it. The D90s usually attract the douchbags that have no idea what they just bought.
garrett,
that is the main problem i had with the swb gwagen. swb trucks are too unstable for me, you can't fit anything in them, and it did hop a bit when climbing hard.
you know the differences between swb g vs. a swb defender...the defender has skinny little trailing arms, the motor is unpredictable, the electrics always let you down, no stock front or rear lockers, no synchro t-case, and the gears aren't that great. the swb g had the same trailing arms as the radius arms, the m110 motor is bomb proof, the electrical never has issues, front and rear hydraulic stock lockers, synchro t-case (shift high to low at speed), stock gears 4.60.
a lwb defender with a diesel would be awesome, but due to importing and other impact fees, and currency exchange a $5k gbp truck turns into a $15k usd truck...that still needs some more money to fix up.
i'll eventually have a 110 diesel, but it will not see trail use...and that's the irony. like will's double cab, that thing is beyond nice, and once you get it to that point why would you want to risk fucking it up?
at the end of the day a D90 maintains its selling price the same reason a diamond does, availability. if the defender was as abundant as the discovery, i guarantee very few would own one.
