I don't think this will go well. Arresting the old man is like kicking the hornets' nest. That's going to enrage a lot of fence-sitters.

It's either arrest him for 2014, or just allow people to pull guns on federal agents, or police, or whoever you decide don't have authority. He should have been arrested in 2014.

And all the kooks are arrested:

After repeatedly threatening to shoot himself, complaining that he couldn’t get marijuana, and ranting about UFOs, drone strikes in Pakistan, leaking nuclear plants and the government “chemically mutating people,” the last occupier, David Fry, 27, lit a cigarette, shouted “Hallelujah” and walked out of his barricaded encampment into FBI custody.

Yeah. He's standing up for 'Mericans. :patriot: :rofl:

Is david Fry the one screaming GET SOME into the you tube video?

No, that's Sean Anderson, the fatty with the long rap sheet. I would love to know just exactly what is on his rap sheet, too. People on the Oregonian website were posting some wild stuff about him in the comments.

Well... How old do you think he was when he broke into that girls step dad's house and beat him up cause he thought she was sleeping with him. She said his kids in the house where the same age as her. So I think if your already a bit wacky then a divorce and a loss of a job might push you over the edge.
Shame he didn't get a dirt nap over breaking in a mans house and attacking him. Nothing like a 12 gauge slide getting racked just for you to set you straight.

From some of the statements from the family it sounds like they don't give a rats ass about your sympathy and they are standing behind LaVoy.

When I know a bit more, maybe I won't have any sympathy, but right now I have some for him and his family. I can plead ignorance on a lot though, I only know a bit about the whole situation, but enough to know what I would have never joined their cause.

There's nothing more to know. They broke the law. Period. They did so armed. They forcefully took and then occupie public property that taxpayers pay for. They endangered others and they endangered themselves. They risked their own futures and their family's future for what? What did this accomplish? What was it supposed to accomplish? What "freedoms" did these common criminals defend? What more is there to know? What "government plot" did these douche canoes discover? What did they save us all from? Again - these aren't patriots, there not the common good'ol boy "sticking it to the man". They're frustrated, jealous, desperate criminals trying to cling to some kind of relevance. These idiots give us all bad name. They're fuel for tabloid and material for jokes and comedy bits. Overhead video that's "interesting"? A dumb old man who apparently can't drive an automobile heads towards a police barricade after leaving the scene of a crime gets shot? And people question that? We somehow find "interesting" details? Goddam! What am I missing? I know more want any of these turds draping themselves in the flag than I want Putin to! Fucking embarrassment!

So now the FBI sorts through the mess they made on public lands and finds these ass-hats rifled through Indian artifacts and played with heavy equipment on recognized Indian land.

" ...some of the occupiers were also seen going through artifacts that are kept by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the refuge. One of the leaders, LaVoy Finicum, is heard criticizing federal officials for how the artifacts are kept, saying there were signs of a rat infestation."

Yeah - real Americans here!

Get out of a car at the end of a high speed chase and trying to run a roadblock, yelling you're gonna have to shoot me, then reaching for something in your jacket? Hmmm...what's the outcome of that going to be.:banghead:

I understand that. Sort of.

What I don't understand it shooting into a moving vehicle, while chasing it, with kids in the car.

It also does not match the State Police reports. Someone is lying. Err, a lot of police are lying.

I didn't hear any shooting while the car was moving. Just the people in the car yelling, "Are they shooting?"

But you can hear Finicum yelling "You're gonna have to shoot me" when he got out. Sounds pretty damn threatening to me.

And really, if the police wanted to shoot up the car, they would have - see: San Bernadino

You can hear the shooting in the video.

There is a lot wrong with the situation. I personally think the police were in the wrong on this one according to the video. Unless there is something else we have not seen, I do not believe the police were in the right to even be in the situation in the first place. Why were they pulled over? Why were they being held at gun point? Why were they not allowed to drive to the police station? Why were they shot at for just driving away?

Wonder what Trump will have to say?
