Hi guys, i have an 03 discivery and i cant seem to figure out why my horn wont work. The horn use to work, one button on the wheel is broken so i swaped the horns to see if the horn itself is out. Neither of the horns worked so i think its something in the line. I checked the fuse in the engine...
Im tring to.bring this thread back to life. Id like to mount a fuel.pressure.gauge on a disco 2. Has anyone here done this, is there a port somewhere on the vlock i could mount a sender unit?
today update is not much, just some pictures and a new plan. since the new hub bearing is in and the new sensor is in and the axle nut is torqued down i think im going to cut the new abs cord here.
and splice it into the old long wire that is spliced close to the ecu.

Hello, i wanted to post up my 03 discovery that has been sitting for 2 and a half years dues to a slipped sleeve. instead of replacing the head gasket for a 2nd time i knew my liners were slipping so i went with cannibal v8 top hat inserts. i opted for the full long bock with the beefed up cam...
thanks i will do that tomorrow, only issue i might have happen is the old sensor is ground down quite a bit, must have been beaten up in the old hub. if everything drives ok and all i get is the bad sensor error i could cut the new short sensor and splice it into the previous long wired sensor...
ok i just unpluged the abs sensor from the connecting in the engine bay and took her for a spin. the tc system only locks up on the front passanger wheel only when gassing through a right turn. tomorrow i will plug the old sensor back in, since its still spliced into the ecu under the glove box...

yes everything is out of the truck. it's a bare block, just a cam shaft and crank shaft. i just need to know how to remove the cam? it wont slide out but will slide inwared about i quater inch till it hits that big metal plug on the back of the engine. if sliding out the back is the way to go...
