Before you do anything pop the Land Rover green oval off the rear handle and spray some lube eg PB Blaster all in there and work things around. That is a commonly over looked lube point. Cheers

You'll be just fine with the four bolts that hold the hub in place. And FWIW D2 axles are technically 3/4 floating. Cheers, Mike

Yeah I don't really understand this mod because brake shoes and drum have a much greater static holding force than does a caliper and disk. Isn't static holding what a tcase drum brake is for?
