Thanks Alastel. Been there done that. I have installed a used ignition lock and key and it came with the switch and harness, so I installed it. Today I ran a live feed into the solenoid to check if the main cables had power going in and out. It turned over just fine, just not with the key! Back...

Installed new starter from britishstarters.com. what a PITA, but installed now, no click, no engagement. Have cleaned all grounds and contacts, new multi function relay, new decel switch, new starter switch and ignition switch. Had new starter tested before install, Help, stumped, again...

One step forward.. I installed new starter, cleaned the ground/ leads really well, new mulifunction relay, decel switch, charged up the battery. No start, no click, nothing. Tried taking off the starting switch off the ignition and using a flat screwdriver. Checked fuses. Hear the relay clicking...

When I engage the starter, there was a 4 second delay before it would engage, would always engage on the second try, now nothing, not engaging at all. I cleaned the earth connection, no help. Will drop the starter next. Any hints on that operation??? Manual says to remove the RH O2 sensor...

One step forward...got the fuel pump to whirl after cleaning rear connection and ground in right rear wheel arch!!! Now starter won't engage.
