Is it necessary to remove the intake to change the valve cover gaskets on a 2004 Landrover Discovery 2. The valve cover gaskets were changed about 20,000 miles ago and they are leaking again.

I ended up having to replace both rear hubs. Problem solved and all lights are gone. I used scanner live data function and noted that one wheel was reading 0 speed so traction control was kicking on. I found that both of the rear hubs had poor signals likely due to wheel bearing issues.
