Hi have a coolant leak right at the plenum chamber heating. this is the 2nd time. I think I'll be able to fix this myself. but, does these need to be there? can I just join the two hoses to bypass the plenum? what would be lost by not heating the air intake at this point? Thanks! Andrew

Thanks for the response. ya, hot exhaust is coming out. not much but enough that I cannot hold my finger 1/2" from the crack for more then a second or two. I think I found a replacement for ~$100.
