Steven, it was good to see you guys! Thanks for stopping by. All in all we had 16 emergency responses in our 24-hour shift...exhausting. What's crazy, though, is that not a single one of them was a confirmed structure fire. The only thing even CLOSE was at about 2:45 or 3:00 this morning...

So far it's been a pretty busy day--two brush fires, two car wrecks, and one LZ to be cleared for a med-evac helicopter, all before dinner. We just ate about an hour ago. I was wrong about getting toned out on an ass-kicking fire right after dinner, but as soon as the forks hit the sink we got...
