IMHO , this move as well as the idiocity shown lately by either candidate leaves a great opportunity for independent candidates to raise a Ballot; i.e R.Paul or even F.Thompson.
Sadly this election it is not about the choice of Republicans or Democrats or liberals, it is about the choice of what we do not want, and not necesarily means the option it is forced but prevaling.

Only my $ 0.02

I'm just asking...but is it true this woman has a 6 mos old baby with downs syndrome? Wouldn't this campaign be a distraction to raising a very young disabled child? How could Mccain even ask her knowing that this would take her away from her family? Seems weird.

< than 6 months actually. Obviously, you've never seen a strong woman take control of her family and WTF does it matter anyways? Totally irrelevant if you asked me. We all have challenges in our personal lives and within our family but family is never considered a "distraction", especially in the case of her newborn child.

It's pretty clear to me now how you can't relate to her.

$10,000 severance pay after 2 weeks on the job? Damn, where do I sign up?

I keep reading she left Wasilla $20m in debt when she became governor, but can't find anything but blogs so far mentioning it. Anyone have more authoritative information?
