4 per shock??? I'm referring to the sleeve adapter, not the misalignment spacers. Is that what you're referring to?

It takes 4 per shock. 2 per mount.

I also had to grind a tad on one side upper mount to clear the shock body.

Also I never used the bilstien ones, but they are steel unlike the rte ones I did use and sucked because they wore loose fast....

So the sleeve is half the width of the shock eye??

The step down portion yes.

Damn I was kinda hoping it was just a press in sleeve, whatever... I'll contact the company and see if they can add 4 more before it ships.

I can see where Kyle is coming from, you really don't need to relocate the lower mount...

I will have 3" of down travel or less with the 12" SBs, I have no interest in that. Also, the stock lower mount is too vulnerable while riding in a loose rock garden.

I mean I'm not trying to say he or you are wrong, I'm still open to opinions. If I can move the mount up 3" or so don't you think that'd be more ideal?

Kind a open mind, build it the way you want too, My truck has 5" of uptravel on the shock and 4" with the bumpstops but I can use all all of it, up and down, and I'm sure some of the experts here will bash you for moving the mounts.

how only 3"?

I had at least 6" with a 3"ish lift. I could easily pop a spring out...
if you have that much room, run a 12 regular reservoir, or a 14" short body.

mind you even linked, I dont use all 12" in the rear...

How do you have 3" of down travel and 7" of up travel? Are you just measuring the shock shaft or is this what you measured to determine shock length.

Only 3" of down travel isn't very much what lift are you running?

Right now I'm around a 23" or so shock length at ride height, that was on my passenger side which I'm correcting with .5" spacers(to match the pass. side) and D1 spring perches for when I build the retainers. The 12" SB is 27" fully extended, whcih gives me around 3" to go before full extension, as well as 8" of up travel because compressed they're 16". Does that make sense or am I not accounting for something.
