cabelas gortex wellingtons everyday. They are a flat vibram sole in boars hide which they don't make anymore. Really comfortable. Key is to find a good cobbler, I'm on my 3rd set of vibram soles on them, dude only charges me 40 to put them on and rework them. I wore a pair of columbia lace up's for years to hunt in but just replaced them today with a set of
irish setters but in 1000g thinsulate. I think they are made by red wings...they are really light weight, should be great for deer hunting.
