A nice ride for the "no damage" crowd is to run the north side trails all the way to Lake City. You actually pop out near the top of what the locals call the Caryville overlook. You have to watch your turns but I think they have marked them better since the last time I was up that way.

wouldnt mind a bit, if you cant find one locally, dont waste your money on shipping when i can pick one up for you. if your even thinking about getting one let me know, cause last time i went by tractor supply, they only had one.RhinoRange02 said:Also I'm try'n to source one the Warn hitch/shackles but my local Tractor Supply doesn't carry them. I may need to pm Richard to snag one for me...
pmed you with paypal info. they come with a d-shackle.RhinoRange02 said:Actually, if you could snag that for me, that'd be great, don't know if I'll get lucky around here or not.
Roughly how much are they Richard? $45-50?
And do I still need to buy a seperate shackle, or does the hitch come with a shackle?
sure have, jeff is going to be out of town, and david doesnt have anything to go in. you should give david a hard time about itTiredIronGRB said:Richard have you mentioned this ride to any of the guys over at Thatched Roof?
x2. better than duct tape.Cadaver said:One thing that needs to mentioned as far as off-road equipment and I cant stress this enough. If you dont bring recovery straps, if you dont have recovery points, if you dont have a winch, for heavens sake please, please bring Wal Mart beef jerky! It is an essential item for wilderness expeditions as it can not only provide nourishment (albiet via sodium overloading) it can also double as winch line, recovery strap, serpentine belt, tire patch, shelter, and as a weapon for self protection from harmful predators or inbred mountain people.
we'll be there.stevenr said:I may be in on this one. I was in the middle of doing an extreme makeover on my suspension, but my new Fox shocks won't be here for another 3 weeks. I still may come as I am. My new rear bumper isn't installed yet either.
No hotel, no camping, no pizza for me. I need to try and scoot by about 4 pm if possible. Hoping nothing goes wrong and I can make it home to turn on the Christmas lights
See you all at the hotel Saturday morning.

You would think with 9 pages of post we would have been there and back then discussed every roll of the wheel.TreyKramer said:oh, sorry..i feel stupid, it hasnt even happened.
