Alright you dirty boys, fess up! Come on and tell Papillon, after a day of work on your pride and joy, what do you use to get those hands clean and soft?

A couple of years ago I started wearing disposable blue nitrile gloves, and they make a huge difference. Never have to use anything other than plain soap and water now. They go for less than $10 for a box of 100 at Harbor Freight, cheaper if you catch them on sale.

Problem with the lady Papillon? :nopity: DL hand cleaner works well, so does DAP Cherry.... Then again, some ladies like a man who has rough hands....

Brake Cleaner works GREAT on the driveway.
No it doesn't.
It dissolves oil stains and allows them to seep in the new tiny cracks - so you'll be hosed.

I don't remember the brand - bought concrete cleaner/degreaser at Dixieline Lumber store. The stuff was about $30 a gallon - but man, it did wonders. Brush it in (it's of GoJo hand cleaner consistency), let to dry for an hour or two, and then sweep or vacuum off the powder residue. A seemingly uncurable spot where either Disco or LWB are parked went to light-gray shade.

I've got this stuff called Cherry Bomb. It's made by Zep and does a pretty good job. You could always just leave 'em a little rough and go in to work the next day with "one clean finger" and get a couple high fives from your buddies. :smilelol:

I steal a box of latex gloves every time I'm at the Dr.'s office :p I use fast Orange for the skin that doesn't get covered in gloves, and brake cleaner on the driveway.

M 30 stain remover. It is in the laundry dept. and works great for cleaning hands/clothes. It even took tar out of my headliner.

I'll 2nd using the gloves and then Gojo for anything else that get's oily......

Simple green (concentrated) works well for the driveway - scrub on - hose off - no more oil stain

Works for synthetic oil any way - not sure about Dino ;)

Oh, and if you ever need to McGuiver (is that how you spell it?) up a hand cleaner at short notice:

Mix Dawn (or other) dish soap with a few teaspoons of sugar in your hand.

The Dawn does the detergent bit - the sugar adds just enough abrasion to get the crud out of your skin without damage.

Works just like the 'real thing' :)
