Starbucks is overrated. It tastes like shit to me, After having a "good" cup, you will know what I mean.

I get large bags from a guy I met here in Denver once. He roasts his beans here in Denver and I pick them up hot from a warehouse. It is the best coffee I have ever had. I can't remember the name of the company but the blend I like the best is called Dudley's. I will try to get the name and post back tonight, its written on the bag.

Kona coffee is the best coffee I've tasted. Get a burr grinder, french press, some good water, and you are good to go.

one of our buddies from our PhillyRovers group always scores the Mayorga coffee. my girlfriend swears it is the cats ass. and she is a snob about coffee.

I get mine from JR Cigars. They carry Mayorga and Montecristo Coffees and they are both good brands. But as you requested, the coffee you hide when in laws etc.. come over, for me it is the Monte Jamaica Blue Mountain. $30.00 a lb is a good price too.

i certainly don't have a problem with them. they have/had a great business plan and it working great. they have a very good product overall as well. and in many areas of the world they have the pick of the best coffee beans.
and i like their blueberry scones!

Original what? Gentrified coffee? Coffee franchise? Over roasted bitter beans?

Other companies try to knock off the business model not the coffee. The only reason that company is a success is because America loves consistency, the same reason McDonalds is huge, certainly not the coffee.
