My hair hasn't been this long since the 70s. It's driving me nuts - I keep feeling like bugs are crawling behind my ears and on my neck. Going to wait until next week so I go a full 3 months....last haircut was Valentines Day to look nice for the little lady.

I’m very jealous of all you (seemingly all of DiscoWeb) who still has a full head of hair. I started balding the second I hit 25. At least I haven’t had wait for the barber to open for a haircut..

I have an appointment for a haircut tomorrow afternoon (around here it's open, but appointment only, door locked, one at a time, masks, etc). I never thought I would be so excited about getting my hair cut.... but here we are, 2020. If you want to feel really bad about modern society, google up some articles from the Spanish Flu and how we handled it right here in Murika. Primary source newspaper articles, etc. It's like comparing a block of wood to a wad of cookie dough. I'm not sure we have too many years left in us as a civilization. We're just too soft. Something new is going to mop the floors with our pansy asses.

Wahl hair trimmer. #1 on the side and a #3 on top. Jump in the shower to wash off
That was my plan B if I couldn't get an appt this week. Fortunately, I got in for this afternoon. Don't know how men with long hair (well, anything more than clipped sides) do it. Hair touching my ears drives me crazy.

My wife wants to cut my hair. I think gas and a match would be safer.

You have to let the sides grow longer, as well, to get the ends behind your ears; and undercut the back so it doesn't get in there and fuck with stuff.

If not, you'll generally end up with clippers or a razor cut, and once it starts to grow it'll tear your ears up, or at least the back of your neck. It looks fine and feels fine, but only if you do it frequently.

Now, what I've done for a long time is just cut my own damned hair, but now I've got better access to the service. I look better after that, but since I slick it back anyway, it doesn't really matter.

Cutting it yourself isn't super difficult, and never leaves you with that scratchy feeling later. This is, however, because it is cut improperly. It'll never look as good if you do it yourself. Humans just don't bend that way, and without that flexibility, you've got to be better than most men at hair-styling; which I personally am not.

Good enough for my own hair style, though.

Cheers,

Kennith
