Paxton, read some threads and let the system catch up and you should see threads only being marked unread when they actually have new posts. The new style uses the database (rather than cookies) to keep track of what you've read. Works better if you're browsing from multiple computers.

Once you guys have caught up on posts (or marked all as read like Dan suggests) and if you're still seeing the issue, let me know and I can adjust. I do find that it works quite well once you've caught up.

So...I actually do want to do a little donation drive. I feel bad about asking for donations so soon after Axel concluded his final drive but I would really like to buy the vBulletin Garage Plus for us:

It's the forum add-on that lets us create member vehicle profiles, similar to what D90 does. It's $95. I was going to just buy it out of pocket but I bought a new safe and a new rifle this month so I'm all tapped out on discretionary funds. If you guys want to chip in a few bucks and help buy it, I promise to set it up for the site.

Like I mentioned in the first post, I pay out-of-pocket for the site hosting and I'm fine with that. But if there's something cool like the Garage (or t-shirts, etc.) that we all like, I'm happy to accept donations.

Best way is to use Square Cash because it's free and easy and it's not scummy Paypal. I can accept Paypal, too, if you prefer.

I am so not. It is smaller than my usual DWeb contribution - didn't want to show off! And, come to think of it, I've been enjoying it for years out of proportion...

Over 200 people on the site right now. Haven't seen that in a while for sure. Especially on a Thursday.

I tweaked the settings to be more inline with other forums. It used to show only people w/ activity in the last 10 minutes or so. Now it's bumped up to--I think--around an hour.

On a side note, we've had a ton of new registrations lately including lots of LR3 and LR4 owners. I'm hoping that the member garage thing will generate some new activity. We definitely have lots of new traffic.
