...whats your dog's name?

we don't give up much personal info on this board (hell most dont even give their name!) so in the interest of changing that...

Seems like most folks own dogs, and a good many of you have dogs in your avatars or in your Dweb gallery. I am a firm believer in the idea that the name of one's dog reflects strongly in the personality of the owner...for example, only an 'Izod Princess' would name a chocolate lab "Godiva". ugh!

my Lab/Doberman is "Utah". Here's the filthy bastard with little plactic fishheads stuck to his skull. woohoo!

(been a long, few huricane-packed months...)

I've got a nine year old Golden named Buck.

By far the best dog that I have ever owned. I am looking to get another one!

Let's see:

1990 Black Dalmation named Merlin
1993 "red" Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Brendon
2002 "red" Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Bean (AKC Putnams Splendid Bean)
2002 "red" Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Bailey (AKC Putnams Splendid Dream)
2003 "red" Pembroke Welsh Corgi (with a hint of Jack Russell) named Jake

The latter 3 all offroad with us....Bean and Bailey are from the same litter and can be seen in my avatar in the Disco at SAE last year.

you have a 24 year old Dalmation?! WOW!

I've got an English Shepherd (I think) named Mika. She's tri-colored and her name is an Indian word for intelligent Racoon. She has a black masked-face!

My husband and I also have a black lab/Akita mix named Max and a black lab/border collie or german shepherd mix named Blacky. They both live with his parents since they've been there since long before we married.

I don't have a good pic of her at the office...will post this old snow one for now:

I have an all black Black Lab/Golden Retriever puppy named Zeppelin he's about 18 weeks old and he can ride with the best of them. Just gotta work on the house breaking.

This concludes my current statement

English Mastiff, 2 years old (still growing, somewhere over 160 lbs, not fat either, father ended up being 230): "Winston"

Chocolate lab, 1 year, small compared to Winston: "Hudson"

My wife has a Cairn terrier named "Merlin". It's a hairy little rat, barks a lot, and hates my guts. I gotta compete with that thing for her attention. :(

Black Dog's dog is a black dog named Jack. Jack is a Lab/Aussie Shep that I sprung from the pound. He's the best and always rides shotgun with me. Incidentally 'Black Dog' also refers to my black Rover, the Disco II and on the D-90 Source I'm White Pup which refers to my little white Defender.

(I'd post a pic of Jack but I need to figure out how to compress the .JPG file because it's way too big)

Nika. 7-year old, pitbull-boxer mix. Should've been born a shark: she'll swim for hours! :D
