Discojen - I'm just curious to see what the Sharpei & Basenji mix looks like, do you happen to have a picture?
I was raised with Basenjis and think they are the neatest dogs and Sharpei's are adorable.

Our golden retriever is officially named "Kalm Sea's A Whole New Adventure" but we call her Puppy. We used to call her Fluffy Puppy, but have since dropped the fluffy, although she is still very much so... Ron now calls her "Porky" since she's gained some weight. I think that's just mean. The whole new adventure used to be the motto for our dealership on our business cards. That's where we got it, in case you wondered... I'm in Canada, so I don't have any pictures handy!

Is that like the guy on the Honda commercials that was raised with wolves? :D

I do miss her. It would be nice to have her around since it's so cold & she'd have a lot of fun off-road! Not to take this thread in a new direction, but MAN is the LR3 amazing off road. These trails were SERIOUS today, and the things just walked right up them. And they are SOOOOOOOOO quiet off road. Truly incredible. Center and rear locking diffs, amazing engine mapping for different scenarios, very cool. The cars even did well with the stock Goodyear tires in nasty thick mud. We had some major rock climbing, nasty mud holes, sand, everything. Very fun. I don't know about Charlottesville. That sure would be nice!

The Lou!
Boo Boo Bear

Trey and Melissa - I took a picture of Boo Boo tonight but am having trouble with my card reader so I can't get it to load. I lost my computer during hurricane Jeanne so I guess she took out my card reader too. I'll shoot ya a pic as soon as I get another card reader. She's a goofy looking thing fer sure - but she's won my heart. It will be hard parting with her when a good home is found.

Here's the rest of my clan minus Boo. Hence the reason I got the Disco and sold the 2 seater Wrangler. ;)

Steve, what's up with pointers and the way they do that.

I rescued a English/German pointer mix (the hunters 'round these parts breed 'em that way) and he does the same thing. Also has separation disorder, but is gradually getting over it. Also hand shy, poor guy. Would likely be an awesome field dog, but is not trained. He is *really* fast and agile, he can catch rabbits, mice, prairie dogs you name it.

Stanley is my pointer and Phoebe is my Chessy. I will always own a Chessy.

She's a 2.5yr old Chocolate Lab. Her father is an American field Lab and her mother is a French born dog from British lines. My family and I have bred two litters of Labs and she's from the first.

She's my bestest pal.
Lives to hunt and has incredible intensity, just hard to keep track of who's traing who?
