Duncan. My best friend. I'd lay down in traffic for him.

He lost the use of one leg 2 years ago when he broke his leash and was hit by a van. He is one of the happiest pups you will ever meet.

I knew an English Setter named Zeke once!

Alyssa, puppy is BIG! And pretty. I like her color better than my nephew's golden...he's more red.

Here is a better shot of my Mika:

I've got a 7 yr old Viszla named Tasha. She's a decent bird hunter, but a terrific companion. As far as bees go, she has got it figured out. She'll catch them in the air and quickly spit them out and I finish the job. She's never been stung.

Here's a few pics. I wish I had some field pics, but I get too flustered to get the camera out when she's on point.

No, not really. She's marginally calmer when it is just me and her or Ron and her and we are in our house. Add both of us, and you get a hyper Puppy. Add new people or a new place, and you get a hyper-hyper Puppy. An 90lbs of a hyper dog is quite a bit to handle!

Our first Golden Retriever, named Zoe. She passed away this year, but her memory will live in our hearts forever.

Loyd, I have a friend who breeds Ridgebacks...they are GREAT!

96DiscoSE7...PLEASE CHANGE THAT! I CAN"T STAND IT :( :(

I believe they are about the best breed of dog you can have for your family. fiercely loyal, nice size (although ours is big for a female) excellent with the little ones and not a barking breed.

I would love to get a black one. althogh not standard for the breed. they do occasonally pop out due to genetics. However our current one is very golden and our next one looks to be very red in color.

on a side note i have only ever had female dogs and am trying to decide if we want a male or female this time. any opinions either way. we will not be breeding. just want a family dog

Shaka (the fuzzy one) and Sheba (the sleek one)--they're hybrids and love the mountains--especially the snow here in Utah. They're also quite spoiled (it's my wife--she does it).

I remember her as a bundle of energetic love at MAR last year, was hoping for you guys that she had calmed some....LOL.....maybe she needs a playmate? (Besides Ron!)
