^^ See?!? A local!

Whenever I was there it was a wholesome crowd, but I could see the potential for degenerates. I still like it.

Still better than several of the strip hotels, where you need to make sure your homo stab insurance is up to date.

I was on the bus and saw chumlee from pawnstars driving a lowrider with hydralics making it jump at a stop light. Looked like someone was trying to pawn it cause it was moving all around uncontrolably as in he didn't know how to operate it.

I'm up 33 with 21 free drinks and a dollar tip on all those. Been playing all over but went to the El Cortez. You could cut the smoke with a fucking sword and see it. Most bang for your buck by far but its a rough crowd. Everyone was really nice and being the only non-employee in the building with a dress shirt gets you drinks rolling throwing a $1 a drink.

Anyone else hear he is supposedly an actor on that show? Shit he says is inconsistent; sometimes he acts smart, other times a total retard.

Who knows? These days you don't always get reality on reality shows. Go figure.:ack:

Sometimes smart people act stupid, like if they think that's what's expected of them, or if being smart has gotten them picked on a lot in the past. In their minds, it's better to be dumb and funny than smart and an outcast.

Local on the bus said he gets a third but who knows if its the truth. When I saw him in the car he appeared to be having a hell of a good time. The damn back bumper was about 6 foot up in the air and he slammed that bitch on the ground and started laughing like hell.

True, but in this case the act is inconsistent. Hence why I mentioned it. You can't say smart shit one day and be a drooling retard the next. Then it's apparent that you are acting.

...which makes me think he's not a professional actor. A pro wouldn't do this.

We are trying to decide on tickets to The Beatles Love Cirque du Soleil. Anyone seen this and is it worth the $100 for a ticket?

Also, found a special on a hoover dam and grand canyon trip for about $90...might end up doing this saturday. I feel like I would be pissed if I went all the way out there and didn't get to ask where can I buy some dam bait?

My advice. Buy the damn bus ticket for three days for like $20 a person. You'll still walk plenty. My feet still hurt from walking so much.

We went to see the bodies exhibit for $32 a piece and found a $6 coupon. Its the real deal, not gross in any way. Also went to the celebrity was museum. $20 a piece with coupon.

If you want to drink be prepared to pay up. The bar at mgm I got a crown and ginger and the girl a bud light. $20.

If you want to get drunk cheap just go downtown and sit down at a roulette table. Throw $20 down and get a stack a mile high and look like a baller. Order a drink everytime you see the girl come by and giv her a dollar. She'll be back every 15 minutes.

My brother recently went to see the beatles show, he said it was pretty good.

X2 about drinking downtown.....but you could always post up on a slot machine and get cheap drinks from the cocktail ladies. But, there are pleny of shops on the stip that sale alcohol.

Leaving on Friday. Going to the beatles show Sunday and to eat after...between Tao, Mesa grill, beso, and lavo what would be a preference? Also we are staying at the MGM...is there a place walking distance I can buy a bottle of bourbon and a case of beer so I don't have to buy every drink in the bar? Or should I catch a cab to walmart and the liquor store?

Not sure but there may be a lee's discount liquor store in the airport, if not just east of the MGM on trop, there's a supermarket with a sizable liquid dept. There also might be a liqour store just north of the MGM on the strip. Your best best is probably to ask a bellman, they'll be able to answer most of your questions.

Any of those restaurants you listed should be good eats.
