Whose '04 Green DII was that winching in the photos? (TJM front and sliver steel wheels)

Does anyone know what kind of lift that rig is running?

Looks great....Hope everyone had a good time in all of that mud.

I believe that was Steve Young's nextdoor neighbor from VA.. I'm not sure what lift he was running though, i'd assume whatever DAP sells though.

2000 miles in the Pig in 5 days. Kentucky, West Virginia, and parts of PA were beautful with the changing fall foliage.

Yep, MAR was a bust. Felt bad for the ROAV folks because they work hard to make this happen every year. I liked the one new trail this year that came off the island, through some water, up a hill, and through some narrow sections. Too bad the log bridge came apart :( That ould have been cool to hang out and rebuild one. Dan Chapman and St. Louis Todd rode with me in the Pig on Thursday night. The trails were dry and we walked through everything. But due to the monsoon, I didn't go back out.

My family and I only lasted from Thursday morning through Friday morning; then we bailed to Maryland to stay with family. I was bummed out big time, My daughter was hating life in all the rain; but my wife maintained a great attitude.

Regarding the gentleman in the D2 with the front PS wheel completely sheared off: I have never ever seen that happen on a D2 before. But then again, I have never seen anyone besides Greg Davis try running tires that were so big and so heavy before. In my opinon the D2 is just not ment to be "monster garaged" But each person has different views on things. I'll stick to my little 32" MTRs and 12K winch.

I would love to see ROAV run MAR in March or even November. Cold nights, cooler days, and less rain would be awesome. Remember, it's not just the litle bit of trails that brings people out, it's the socialization that makes MAR a great event.

Cheers.

The Epsom Green Disco is Gordon Boyd's. Yes, he lived next to Steve in VA, and I sold him the Disco :D
Good thing, too, since he pulled my butt out 2 times!

That was the most mud I have ever seen. Paul, we looked for you all day Friday...didn't realize that you left! We only made it until Sat morning. I didn't get to meet many people at all. Socialization was at a minimum with the rain. I did get to see a couple of D3s on the ramp. Flexy for IFS/IRS.

good point ... why won't they run it the summer? hurricane season makes NO sense.

If that's Dan or Randy in the camo kilt, I think Agro better stop web sparring with you guys:D I don't think he'd want to get too up close and personal.

I didn't make it down until Friday afternoon, lost some time on the I95 parking lot south of DC. The rain sucked, but ROAV can't be blamed for the weather. Had a great time anyway, the PhillyRovers pigroast alone was worth the trip. It was also nice to meet people in person finally. I was kinda bummed I missed Paul, but there's always next year.

I bailed after the auction on Saturday night, went up to Fredricksburg and got a motelroom to dry out.

All in all it was a very well organized event, and it's obvious that ROAV puts a lot of work into getting MAR off the ground every year. My hat's off to them. Good job, guys!

Damn, with every one bailing out Fri-Sat morning I see I didn't miss much.. Wouldn't have mattered anyways since if I did go I would have had to leave Thursday night.. Spent Thursday and part of Friday in the ER with the misses. :(

Thanks. Just have to wait and see what happens..

Anyways, that's a fine looking pig roast there so I guess I did miss some good eats.. So who's going to get the record this year for taking the most mud home with them?
