New Jersey too, unless they changed the law in the past 5 years.

It is strangely coupled with a very fair evaluation of Governator's performance.

I drove through Pacific Beach and La Jolla yesterday - the girls riding bikes in swim suits on city streets were worth it.Welcome to Hell A said:Don't worry, no bubble to burst. It could be that most of it was a fair evaluation; you seem to defend California against pretty much all.

The only other state I'd want to live is Colorado. It is remarkably similar to California in many respects, including politics.
Welcome to Hell A said:Knewsom, I've driven in DC; the traffic was pretty similar there if I recall. Easy drives in LA...lol.
knewsom said:Have you driven in DC during rush-hour? It took me an hour and a half to go 3 miles once. Top record for that in LA for me was 45 minutes. It's not like LA where you can just hop on a city street and take an alternate route - you're bound by bridges that really prove to be bottlenecks, and the bridges aren't the only ones - there are streets that change direction depending on time of day, and all sorts of streets that you'd think are through, but aren't.

knewsom said:The DC metro is pretty good, actually, but could seriously stand some improvements. Lately there have been lots of delays, breakdowns, and trains sharing a single track. Took my wife an hour to get home the other night because they had to deboard her train, send everyone the opposite direction one stop, and take the next train instead, which was delayed. Ugh. It's also so crowded sometimes that you can't actually get on a train.

California is just a disaster. Everything about it.
